The Trinity
Here's a quick recap of what we covered today...- God is One (Deuteronomy 6:4)
- God is 3 persons -- Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16-17)
- Each of the persons of God is of the same essence and is not inferior or superior to the others in essence
- Each has a different role to play
Remember that it is not a relationship of 3 Gods, but God who is 3 persons. As I mentioned in class, the Trinity is a mystery that we will never be able to understand fully, but if you have any further questions about it, do feel free to approach either Chuu Ling or myself and we'll try our best to answer you.
